1. About RiPhone Ireland
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the RiPhone Ireland website (myriphone.ie) and any purchase made through it. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
RiPhone Ireland Ltd is a company registered in Ireland under CRO number 654321, with its registered office at 14 Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin 2, D02 TK84, Ireland. Our VAT registration number is IE 9876543A.
We specialise in the sale of professionally refurbished iPhones, certified at our Dublin laboratory. All devices pass a 52-point quality inspection before being listed for sale.
2. Eligibility & Account
To purchase from RiPhone Ireland, you must be at least 18 years of age and reside in Ireland (Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland). By placing an order, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised use of your account, please contact us immediately at support@myriphone.ie.
3. Products & Pricing
All products listed on our website are professionally refurbished iPhones graded according to our condition system:
- Acceptable — Fully functional; may show visible signs of use.
- Great — Fully functional; minor cosmetic marks only.
- Excellent — Fully functional; very light traces of use, near flawless.
- Premium — Fully functional; in like-new condition.
All prices displayed on our website include VAT at the applicable Irish rate. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice; however, the price applicable to your order is that shown at the time of checkout.
4. Orders & Payment
When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product at the stated price. Your order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed via encrypted, PCI-DSS-compliant payment systems. RiPhone Ireland does not store your full card details.
In the event of a pricing error on our website, we will notify you before processing your order and offer you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Delivery
We deliver to all addresses across Ireland, including Northern Ireland. All orders include free standard delivery with no minimum spend. Estimated delivery is 2–5 working days from order confirmation. Please refer to our Delivery Policy for full details.
6. Returns & Refunds
You have the right to return any product within 14 days of receipt for any reason, in accordance with Irish consumer law and EU Distance Selling Regulations. Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for the full process.
7. Warranty
All RiPhone Ireland products are covered by a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty is provided by RiPhone Ireland and is in addition to your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law. Please refer to our Warranty Policy for full details.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the RiPhone Ireland website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and code, is the property of RiPhone Ireland Ltd or its licensors and is protected by Irish and international intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
Apple, iPhone, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc. RiPhone Ireland is an independent reseller of refurbished devices and has no affiliation with Apple Inc.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, RiPhone Ireland's liability in connection with any product or service shall not exceed the price paid for that product or service. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
If you have a complaint that we have been unable to resolve, you may contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) at ccpc.ie, or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.

Warranty Policy
1. What's Covered
Your 24-month RiPhone warranty covers all manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions that arise during normal use, including:
- Display (touchscreen responsiveness, dead pixels, backlight issues)
- Battery (where capacity drops below 80% within the warranty period)
- Camera (front and rear, including optical image stabilisation)
- Speakers and microphone
- Buttons (side button, volume buttons, silent switch)
- Charging port and connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular)
- Face ID / Touch ID biometric systems
- All internal components and logic board
2. What's Not Covered
The following are not covered under the RiPhone warranty:
- Physical damage caused by accidental drops, impacts, or pressure
- Liquid damage (unless the device is sold as water-resistant and damage occurs within rated parameters)
- Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications
- Cosmetic wear and tear (scratches, scuffs) that were present at the time of sale and disclosed in the product listing
- Software issues caused by user-installed apps or iOS updates
- Loss or theft of the device
3. Battery Policy
All RiPhone Ireland devices are sold with a battery health of at least 85%. If the battery health drops below 80% within the first 12 months of ownership under normal usage conditions, we will replace the battery free of charge.
Battery health between 12 and 24 months is covered where degradation is clearly abnormal and not attributable to usage patterns.
4. How to Make a Claim
To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
- Contact our support team at support@myriphone.ie or via WhatsApp, providing your order number and a description of the issue.
- Our technical team will review your claim and may ask for photos or a short video demonstrating the fault.
- If the claim is approved, we will send you a prepaid return label.
- Once we receive and assess the device at our Dublin laboratory, we will either repair it, replace it with an equivalent device, or — if neither is possible — issue a full refund.
- The turnaround time for warranty repairs is typically 5–10 working days from receipt of the device.
5. Statutory Rights
In addition to our commercial warranty, as a consumer in Ireland you have statutory rights under Irish consumer law. If a product is defective, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to repair, replacement, or refund regardless of our warranty terms. These rights are not limited by any time period shorter than six years under Irish law.

1. Your Right to Return
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (implemented in Ireland through the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013), you have the right to cancel your order and return any product within 14 days of receipt, for any reason.
This right applies to purchases made online from RiPhone Ireland. It does not apply to products that have been personalised or customised at your request.
2. Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a full refund, returned devices must be:
- In the same condition as received — not damaged beyond what was disclosed in the product listing
- Accompanied by all original accessories included in the box (cable, adapter if applicable)
- Signed out of iCloud / Find My iPhone (Apple ID removed)
- Factory reset
If the device is returned in a condition significantly worse than when it was sent to you, we reserve the right to deduct a reasonable amount from your refund to reflect the diminished value.
3. How to Return
- Email support@myriphone.ie or message us on WhatsApp with your order number and reason for return.
- We will send you a prepaid An Post return label by email within 1 working day.
- Package the device securely and drop it at any An Post branch or post box.
- Once we receive and inspect the device at our Dublin laboratory, we will process your refund.
4. Refund Timeline
Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days of receiving the returned device at our Dublin laboratory. The amount will be credited back to the original payment method used at checkout.
- Credit/debit cards: 3–5 business days to appear on your statement
- PayPal: usually within 24 hours of processing
- Shop Pay / Apple Pay / Google Pay: 3–5 business days
We will send you an email confirmation as soon as your refund has been processed.
5. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a device that is faulty, not as described, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. In such cases:
- We will arrange free collection of the device.
- You will receive a full refund or a replacement, at your choice.
- Return postage costs will be fully reimbursed if you organised your own return in an emergency.
6. Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. If you would like a different model, grade, or colour, please return your original device for a refund and place a new order. This ensures you are not without a device while waiting for the exchange to be processed.

1. Delivery Coverage
We deliver to all addresses across Ireland, including the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We currently do not ship to addresses outside of Ireland.
Deliveries to remote or rural locations, including some areas of Connacht and parts of Northern Ireland, may take 1–2 additional working days.
2. Delivery Timeframes
All orders follow the same dispatch and delivery process:
- Day 1: Order confirmed; device enters final certification at our Dublin laboratory.
- Day 1–2: Device professionally packaged using our 5-layer protective system.
- Day 2–3: Parcel collected by courier; tracking number sent to your email.
- Day 2–5: Delivery to your address.
Orders placed before 12:00 (noon) on a working day are typically dispatched the same day. Orders placed after noon, or on weekends and bank holidays, are processed the next working day.
3. Packaging
Every RiPhone Ireland device is packaged using a professional 5-layer system:
- Anti-static protective sleeve
- Rigid inner case
- High-density foam padding
- Reinforced outer cardboard box
- Tamper-evident security seal
The box bears no external branding that identifies the contents as a high-value electronics item, for security reasons.
4. Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a direct link to track your parcel in real time on the courier's website. You can also use the tracking tool on our website.
If you have not received a tracking number within 3 working days of placing your order, please contact us at support@myriphone.ie.
5. Failed Delivery
If you are not available at the time of delivery:
- The courier will leave a calling card with instructions.
- A second delivery attempt will be made on the next working day.
- After two failed attempts, the parcel will be held at the nearest collection point for 7 days.
- If uncollected after 7 days, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be issued less any re-delivery costs incurred.
6. Damaged or Lost Parcels
All RiPhone Ireland shipments are fully insured. In the unlikely event that your parcel is lost or damaged in transit:
- If the parcel shows visible external damage on arrival, please accept it with a note of reservation ("accepted under protest") and photograph the damage before opening.
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery (or of the expected delivery date if the parcel did not arrive).
- We will open an investigation with the courier and, in the meantime, arrange a replacement device or full refund.

Please include your full name, email address used when purchasing, and a clear description of the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
3. Right to Opt Out of Marketing
If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from RiPhone Ireland, you can:
- Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email
- Email privacy@myriphone.ie with the subject line "Unsubscribe"
- Log into your account and update your communication preferences
Please allow up to 5 working days for your preference to take effect. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional emails related to your orders.

2. Measures We've Taken
To ensure accessibility, we have implemented the following measures on myriphone.ie:

3. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our website may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:

- Third-party content (such as embedded product videos) may not be fully within our control.
We are actively working to address these issues and aim to resolve them by the end of 2025.
